Our Keyword Research

Keyword research takes time, it is not something that is taken lightly or can be done in minutes. We utilize programs and engineers that have extensive backgrounds in keyword research to determine the best possible outcomes based on traffic volume, sales, and competitiveness. As this is the case, keyword research is NOT included in our consultation as it not only takes time but years of practice and time tested understanding of keyword related searches.

We look at many factors in keyword research and tailor each outcome to our client's specific needs based on our consultation. We will find the needle in the haystack for you, and hand you valuable information that assist in a revenue stream for your site. However, just like everything else in life, it comes with a price.

We have developed a small price point which you should easily make back in the 1st 30 days of your running your site, once your achieve page 1 rankings in Google. We understand how important it is to our clients that their site is up, running, and generating income as quickly as possible.

What we need from you:

  1. A keyword (can be 1 or more) to begin with
  2. Page address for that keyword
  3. Understanding of your expectations (where you want to place your site, how much you want to spend, expected revenue stream)

What we will do:

  1. We will take the keywords you give us and generate thousands of keywords
  2. We will look at the highest profitability and traffic generators based on that list
  3. We will do extensive research on the top number of keywords you order
  4. We will deliver the keyword research to you with our recommendations on link building strategies and a quote for a cost to rank as a guide
  5. We will deliver the entire list of keywords we generate to you (as many as we generate, usually thousands)

About Keyword Research

Here is where 90%+ of internet marketing companies and individuals FAIL! keyword research is something that takes time, effort, ingenuity, and some common sense. We have found over the years that people who try to make money online just expect things to be dropped in their lap, or as all the emails we get daily with sales pitches in them; to have a 1 button push wonder that is going to make them instantly rich for no work. Building websites, finding products, and gaining popularity pale in comparison to keyword research! Why is that you ask?

  1. Keyword research is what drives your page, product and ultimately your sales. You can have an amazing product and an amazing page, but if your keyword research isn't done correctly then no one will see you! If no one sees your page or orders your product is it a success or failure?

  2. Understanding that picking the right keywords is linked to how much work you have to put into or how much money you must spend to get to the top of Google to see click throughs to your pages and eventually orders. If you choose a keyword that shows a low competition but still drives a nice number of clicks or traffic, then your should be able to rank in Google quickly with little effort or money. However, if you choose a high competition keyword with high traffic volume like "weight loss" you could spend months or even years trying to get ranked. No one clicks on the link on page 25 of Google!

  3. Your keywords are also used as anchor text in your link building campaigns. To further reinforce your keywords, use of your keywords as anchor text shows the search engines the relevance of your link and page.

So as you can see, picking the right keyword controls the destiny of your page and ultimately your ability to generate revenue from your pages quickly.

Formulate a plan

Planning for each page or site is an important aspect of your link building campaign and your P&L for your site. You have to devise a plan of what it is exactly you are looking for. Consider the following when formulating a plan:

There are but a few of the questions you should be asking yourself when forumlating a plan. Now some of thee will apply to some and some will not. You may even think of other questions you need answered in the overall scheme of things, so please feel free to add ot this list. This list is meant to be a guide and we encourage you to pick your own brain or even ours for more questions you want to have answered.

While you may not need a lot of these questions answered, in the beginning of your marketing you want to ask as many questions and seek as many answers as possible. As time grows on some of these questions can be answered in your head, while others may not be relevant. You can streamline your questions over time to suit your needs, but you want to ensure you are doing this while learning what is working and what is not working for you.

For instance, if you find that you are spending $200.00 per page on SEO link building services, and spending that money nets you $1000.00 per month for a low competing keyword with a search volume of 100,000; well this becomes a no brainer. By doing the math up front, running your own time tests, and repeating this over and over; you are able to forulate this outcome. You no longer need to ask this question of these types of sites. However, this is relevant to same type of situations, so if you decide to go after a harder keyword pulling more traffic, you again will want to make the calculations to determine your profit.

The bottom line here is, you need to have a plan of attack on how you are going to start and finish a site. Jumping into a site or page without having this plan is a recipe for failure.

Keywords in SEO

The jurry is out right now on the use of keywords in on page SEO. The older school of thought is that keywords still matter and are not only used as a guide but also used in search engine ranking (even if the % of the algorythm is small). You see, some believe that since the keywords you use are inthe meta tags in the head of your page documents, this is one of the things bots see before anything else on your page. Whereby when looking at the content on the rest of the page will assist in keying for certain keywords.

While others believe the use of keyword meta tags are virtually useless. After Google's Panda update, the search engines are looking for other things to key on like spammed pages with massive numbers of outbound links, duplicated content, and lack of content or keyword density.

The bottom line is, they both could be right; and by having your keywords, page names and descriptions properly SEO formatted, it isn't going to hurt you for having them. Until Google comes out and says they are 100% useless and don't bother using them anymore, we continue to optimise on page SEO with these tags. It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
